Crib for sleeping baby

I have done a few cribs and none of them have been done the same way! Here is a little sneak peek of a few that I have done before.

This matching crib and dresser set was done back in 2014. I fixed some teething marks left by a previous baby and stain matched the rails. My client also wanted this vintage dresser to be stained to match.

Here I refinished a crib and dresser in a cream with gold glaze. Perfect for a  princess.

Last year in 2015 I refinished this crib in blue, lightly distressed and stained the top of the rails.

Again, a few cribs none the same! My client was in the middle of refinishing her crib when she decided to just have Second Chance Charms take over. Refinishing furniture, correctly, is time consuming and hard work! I don’t mind helping you out!
My customer wanted the color to be matched if not close enough to what she had previously picked out. I was able to color match it to Sherwin-Williams Ivory Lace. A simple elegant solid finish for this gal.

Before and after

Antique Chair

This chair is very special to my client as it was her Great Grandma’s chair given to her by her Aunt. During her Color Consultation we chose to have this chair match a bed frame that she has in her guest room. My client had full faith in my abilities and gave me full range as to picking out the fabric to reupholster this beauty in. After spending some time with her I had a good idea of what I wanted to do!

Refinished in Sherwin- Williams Greek Villa and glazed in Felt Wool and Napery. Duck Grey fabric and Grey edging from Jo-Anns.

Chest of Drawers

I am really excited for this one, as I used TWO colors for glaze. Something I had yet to try! I am over here like “the possibilities are endless!” Why haven’t I thought of this before?!!! I cant wait to do more things with two and more colors of glaze!!!

A custom chest of drawers refinished in Sherwin-Williams Pure White. Web Gray and Dorian Gray glaze which brings out the amazing color tones in this hardware! My client pick up these gorgeous metal pulls from Hobby Lobby.

Recent Highlights October

Happy Friday!!! Its been busy over here, between school studies with the kids, household duties/projects and Second Chance Charms furniture, I feel all over the place. *deep breath* Busy is good.

I completely forgot to post my most recent work in Instagram and here on my webpage. I did manage to post it on Facebook! Oh boy.  Haha for that I apologize.
I enjoy posting a collage picture of my most recent 4 projects up-to-date. Refinishing furniture is a process and takes time. By posting these “most recent highlights” pictures we can look back at a glance to see what has been completed, and if you missed anything that catches your eye you can flip through to find their debuts.

French provincial bedroom set, kitchen decor and a red buffet. Enjoy!

Coffee Table

My client sent me a few inspirational photos from my portfolio that he liked in regards to refinishing his family room pieces. He borrowed my paint color book and picked out the color he liked best in his lighting.

Custom coffee table refinished in Sherwin-Williams Greek Villa and glazed in brown. Original pulls revamped in bronze. End table shortly to come.
