Dresser

I had this dresser up for customization and a returning client asked to have this piece replace the one she bought from me back in 2014. Her daughter will be 6 in a few weeks and is upgrading her room with more storage.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams DE color Swiss Coffee and distressed. Stained the top in Minwax Weathered Teak. Added new crystal knobs my client purchased.

Butcher Block Island

This is an exciting project that I was able to do for an existing client! I NOW have the ability to cut and bend metal and I made a shelf for this piece using two machines and my fathers help! First cutting the metal to size and blending the sides for a clean flush look!

I already have a few projects I plan on making, I can’t wait to show you!

Refinished this family heirloom butcher blocker kitchen island in Sherwin-Williams Secure Blue and distressed. Revamped the wicker sides in white to match the powder coated white metal shelf. Cleaned and revamped the casters in black. I left the butcher block bare wood and I was told my client has already done a few coats of oil on it, getting ready for its use in the kitchen.

TV Stand

Oh my heart!! The colors! All of this I just love!! When I visited my client for her color consultation she had a vision of how she wanted her family room pieces to look. Grey with a dark top to tie in her dark and dreamy kitchen. When verifying with her husband he mentioned a piece that he absolutely loved from my webpage: Bohemian Buffet by Link-Taylor

Another piece close to my heart that I really enjoyed doing. I looked over my shoulder and saw a painting hanging on the wall above their couch. I quickly pointed and said “we can use these colors!”

The excitement gained way and my mind was swirling! She ending up changing her original idea to a better one! The End Tables, I posted yesterday were grey and black glaze to tie in with this statement piece, making them still a matching set but with a lot more BOOM! This TV stand came out exactly how I envisioned!

Using Sherwin-Williams Tin Lizzie as our grey base I blended Jade Dragon, Interesting Aqua and Peppercorn. Glazing the unit in Tricorn Black to match the end tables which blended these three pieces together nicely. The top is Tin Lizzie just like the end tables. I added a pop of Sunny Veranda for an added artistic vibe. Changed out the hardware with white distressed grey knobs from Hobby Lobby.

Antique Trifold Table

How adorable is this custom antique side table? Irish I had one! (Haha, enjoy my humor!). Refinished in a custom color that I blended using two different greens and a brown creating a gorgeous forest green. Glazed the base in brown. Stained the top in Sherwood Chestnut. Handpainted clovers and flowers by Maureen Flanigan.

Buffet by Collezione Europa

Love the curves of this piece! My client liked how it was originally but wanted to get rid of the flowers and have the stain be more of an espresso rather then a light brown.

I got my hands on General Finishes gel stain and knew this product would be my best bet on making this piece look stained without having to sand down the entire piece.

Painting the outside base in Sherwin-Williams Java for a wood color to give my gel stain a base to work with was the first step. I refinished the inside of the unit in Sherwin-Williams Tricorn Black per my clients request. Adding multiple layers of General Finishes gel stain in Java, building up layers, creating definition like wood grain was a fun process. Once cured I glazed the entire piece in Sherwin-Williams Tricorn black to darken the stain and to glaze in all of the nooks and crannies to make more of an impact in the lines.

My client is getting new knobs, but in the meantime I revamped the hinges in Black and left the original knobs for my staged photos.
