Antique Tall Boy Dresser

This beautiful antique tall boy dresser is for sale, click on over to Shop Selections for details!

I got my hands on this stunning 1900’s antique dresser, sadly the original tiger wood faced drawers had seen better days. I ended up having to remove the old partly missing and very much chipped veneer and decided to give this beauty a true Second Chance! Changing directions from giving him a restoration I ended up wanting to see him in a green.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Oakmoss and heavily glazed in a dark brown slightly distressed in areas I saw fit for an aged look. Removing the original knobs and adding different pulls that I revamped in a Chestnut classed up this handsome fellow. I left his casters on, cleaned them up and refinished them in Chestnut as well for an overall makeover.

TV Stand

Oh my heart!! The colors! All of this I just love!! When I visited my client for her color consultation she had a vision of how she wanted her family room pieces to look. Grey with a dark top to tie in her dark and dreamy kitchen. When verifying with her husband he mentioned a piece that he absolutely loved from my webpage: Bohemian Buffet by Link-Taylor

Another piece close to my heart that I really enjoyed doing. I looked over my shoulder and saw a painting hanging on the wall above their couch. I quickly pointed and said “we can use these colors!”

The excitement gained way and my mind was swirling! She ending up changing her original idea to a better one! The End Tables, I posted yesterday were grey and black glaze to tie in with this statement piece, making them still a matching set but with a lot more BOOM! This TV stand came out exactly how I envisioned!

Using Sherwin-Williams Tin Lizzie as our grey base I blended Jade Dragon, Interesting Aqua and Peppercorn. Glazing the unit in Tricorn Black to match the end tables which blended these three pieces together nicely. The top is Tin Lizzie just like the end tables. I added a pop of Sunny Veranda for an added artistic vibe. Changed out the hardware with white distressed grey knobs from Hobby Lobby.

How adorable is this custom antique side table? Irish I had one! (Haha, enjoy my humor!). Refinished in a custom color that I blended using two different greens and a brown creating a gorgeous forest green. Glazed the base in brown. Stained the top in Sherwood Chestnut. Handpainted clovers and flowers by Maureen Flanigan.

Double Pedestal Desk

I needed color in my life, and I needed it fast! With summer at an end and school has begun I still think about our vacation to California and the gorgeous beaches. Using the ocean as an inspiration I wanted to do something special with one of my inventory pieces.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Honeycomb, Freshwater and Rainstorm using a blending technique. Glazed in black for a deep vintage look. Original hardware revamped in gold and glazed in black.

French Provincial Chest of Drawers

Color has been everywhere over here! I had this French Provincial Chest of Drawers up for customization over at In the Studio, and she didn’t sit long! A returning client grab her up and is placing her in her bedroom. She has a lovely quilt that has many beautiful colors that she wanted to incorporate.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Haven and glazed in Well-Bred Brown. The original hardware revamped in Sunny Veranda and also glazed in Well-Bred Brown.
