I got my hands on this stunning 1900’s antique dresser, sadly the original tiger wood faced drawers had seen better days. I ended up having to remove the old partly missing and very much chipped veneer and decided to give this beauty a true Second Chance! Changing directions from giving him a restoration I ended up wanting to see him in a green.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Oakmoss and heavily glazed in a dark brown slightly distressed in areas I saw fit for an aged look. Removing the original knobs and adding different pulls that I revamped in a Chestnut classed up this handsome fellow. I left his casters on, cleaned them up and refinished them in Chestnut as well for an overall makeover.

Vintage Dresser Chest

Okay… where to start. What is the world is this? My 3-year-old son, Emmett, thinks that it is a pirate chest. Its one of the most strangest pieces of furniture that I have come across. Which is the main reason why I had to purchase this bad boy.

He has 3 drawers and that is it. The rest of him is for looks. A huge chest that looks to be sitting on a table. Straps and studs, belt buckles and grooves. Why not right?! I think he is the perfect statement piece to place somewhere that could use a little farmhouse charm!

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Pure White and distressed. Original hardware updated in white and distressed to allow patina to show through to match the studs.

He available for purchase, click over to Shop Selections to view details.
