This piece is huge and heavy! Matching the set all together, leaving the top and hardware original. Refinishing the base in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound and lightly glazing the details using Turkish Coffee. Perfect!
Continuing on with my clients bedroom set. This lovely lingerie cabinet is up next. Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound and lightly glazed in Turkish Coffee. Leaving the top as is, as well as leaving the hardware original. Love how this look just brightens up these pieces!
Word of mouth is such a huge compliment to me and I absolutely appreciate it! This client came to me, referred by her friend, to have her entire bedroom set refinished.
First piece up is her dresser. This piece has an open top section area for the TV box and DVR devices, which I thought is perfect to maintain the top of your dresser and to minimize clutter.
Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound and lightly glazed in Turkish Coffee. The top is left untouched and original. The hardware was cleaned.
“Oh my gosh! It’s so beautiful. I can’t believe I contemplated getting rid of it and buying a new piece for my space.”
Really in love with this gal! My client had a vision and although she didn’t quite push me out of my comfort zone, I found a challenge worth the reward.
Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Anonymous and glazed in one shade darker using Porpoise. (The challenge in glazing one shade darker was I couldn’t tell how much of the glaze I was applying and taking off. When paint is wet its lighter. So during the glazing process I felt like I was reapplying the same base color. Talk about nervousness!) The top is stained using Varathane Wood Stain in Weathered Oak. The original hardware is cleaned up, however, the two long plates were more gold. In order to match them to the pulls I sprayed the two plates in Oil Rubbed Bronze and wet sanded them to bring a little gold out to match the existing pulls.
Continuing with my clients bedroom set, nightstands were posted last week, Dresser is next up!
Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Alabaster and heavily distressed. Tops stained in Minwax Jacobean. Original hardware revamped in Oil Rubbed Bronze.
Such a gorgeous dresser my client has!! She refinished it sometime ago and wanted a new look. This dresser by Lexington has grooves, crevices and curves in all the right places!
My client is ordering hardware, so unfortunately I will have to post this gorgeous piece without her completely finished. Trust me when I say, its very hard for me to do that. Haha
Nonetheless I will still stage her in all her beauty! Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Gray Matters and glazed in Cyberspace. I did not stain the top as my client was happy with how it was before, a beautiful dark finish. I did clean up a few troubled areas for her on the stain that was near the body of the piece.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Dovetail and heavily distressed for a shabby look. Added new Brown Flourish Metal Knobs with Plates from Hobby Lobby to give her that lovely farmhouse charm. Perfect for any space!
A small wonderful statement piece! Looking for a coffee bar, changing table, small entry way dresser to place keys, purses and more? I believe this gal has many universal uses with a beautiful artistic POP! A small four drawer dresser, refinished in a blending technique using Sherwin-Williams Dove Tail and Greek Villa. My client snagged up this little three drawer dresser and wanted a grey matte finish, glazed for some texture.
Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Gauntlet Gray and glazed in a mixture of using both Tricorn Black and Pepercorn! Original hardware revamped in Black.
My client enjoys her vacation cruises, so much so that she buys a piece of art from her many travels on ship. She wanted her bedroom dresser to resemble her found memories, so Maureen Flanigan put her artistic touch on her dresser.
Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Forever Lilac and lightly distressed for a beach feel. Added new hardware from Hobby Lobby, jute wrapped metal pulls. Acrylic hand painted nautical themed by Maureen using a verity of colors.
