French Provincial Hutch

I had this gorgeous French Provincial Hutch from Basset Furniture Company over in Inventory ready to be customized. A returning client picked her up and wanted a bright bold statement for her dining area.

Refinished the body of this hutch in Sherwin-Williams Warm Stone and the inside only in Mariner for a pop! Glazed the piece in Sealskin to highlight those grooves. Original hardware revamped in Oil Rubbed Bronze.

French Provincial Hutch

I’d like to think I saved this glorious gal from the dump. Her veneer was peeling, she lost most of her original hardware and she was in overall really bad shape. I gave her a second chance and I am absolutely in love with how she turned out! Not only that, but she is available for purchase! Check out Shop Selections for details!

After scrapping off her veneer, filling in all areas with wood filler, adding a new top, sanding and proper prep this beauty is ready to showcase her new look! A French provincial style hutch refinished in a dark gray using Sherwin-Williams Rock Bottom. Heavily glazed in Tricorn Black. Inside, backing and shelves are refinished in Snowbound White. Hardware revamped in Black and heavily antiqued in White for an added pop!

French Provincial Lingerie Chest

From gold to silver these two sisters got a Second Chance! My client inherited these old gals from her grandmother and wanted them to not only match her decor but to use in her guest bedroom.

Refinishing both of them in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound and lightly glazing them in Network Grey helped make these two sisters match even though they are completely different. I also highlighted certain areas with metallic silver leaf. All original hardware revamped in Snowbound and highlighted with metallic silver.

Heirloom Quality Coffee Table by Weiman

Sticking with a bright color for that POP in her home, my client wanted this distressed coffee table to be glazed. You can really see the difference between the two styles with the before picture comparison.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Synergy and glazed in Turkish Coffee brown. Original pull revamped in Bronze.

French Provincial End Table

A returning client brought me a French Provincial End Table that needed to go bold and beautiful. She is in the moving process and wanted to go bright in her new home! The before pictures may look familiar, its a piece I had refinished a long time ago. During his move, the handlers got a little careless. I had to fix the darwer, as it was cracked from something heavy falling on him.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Tangerine and lightly glazed in Turkish Coffee brown. Hardware revamped in bronze.

French Provincial Chest of Drawers

Color has been everywhere over here! I had this French Provincial Chest of Drawers up for customization over at In the Studio, and she didn’t sit long! A returning client grab her up and is placing her in her bedroom. She has a lovely quilt that has many beautiful colors that she wanted to incorporate.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Haven and glazed in Well-Bred Brown. The original hardware revamped in Sunny Veranda and also glazed in Well-Bred Brown.

French Provincial Hutch

I was tagged in a facebook post from a neighbor about someone looking for a furniture refinisher for her projects. As I was talking with my new client about her options for her television entertainment unit she mentioned wanting to get a hutch done as well. She found a hutch very fast and decided to start with that project first. A vintage french provincial style china cabinet by Fancher.

She sent me her inspirational photos and basically gave me free range. Oh my stars- I was thrilled! I knew from the moment I saw her when she came into my shop she needed to be glazed, not distressed, for a timeless- classic look.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound and glazed in Well-Bred Brown. Original hardware and door wire revamped in bronze. The top of the dresser is stained in Dark Walnut for added gorgeous flair! It will be hard to part with her. I am so thankful my new client allowed me to give this gal a Second Chance!
