French Provincial Hutch

I had this gorgeous French Provincial Hutch from Basset Furniture Company over in Inventory ready to be customized. A returning client picked her up and wanted a bright bold statement for her dining area.

Refinished the body of this hutch in Sherwin-Williams Warm Stone and the inside only in Mariner for a pop! Glazed the piece in Sealskin to highlight those grooves. Original hardware revamped in Oil Rubbed Bronze.

We are in the middle of our home renovation and once complete I will share before and after pictures! In the meantime I have to change up my pieces that I refinished years back. First piece I started with is my mothers hutch.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Dovetail Gray. Glazed in Black Fox. Added distressed white iron hardware from Hobby Lobby. Left the backing and shelves orginal wood.

I’d like to think I saved this glorious gal from the dump. Her veneer was peeling, she lost most of her original hardware and she was in overall really bad shape. I gave her a second chance and I am absolutely in love with how she turned out! Not only that, but she is available for purchase! Check out Shop Selections for details!

After scrapping off her veneer, filling in all areas with wood filler, adding a new top, sanding and proper prep this beauty is ready to showcase her new look! A French provincial style hutch refinished in a dark gray using Sherwin-Williams Rock Bottom. Heavily glazed in Tricorn Black. Inside, backing and shelves are refinished in Snowbound White. Hardware revamped in Black and heavily antiqued in White for an added pop!
