TV Stand

Oh my heart!! The colors! All of this I just love!! When I visited my client for her color consultation she had a vision of how she wanted her family room pieces to look. Grey with a dark top to tie in her dark and dreamy kitchen. When verifying with her husband he mentioned a piece that he absolutely loved from my webpage: Bohemian Buffet by Link-Taylor

Another piece close to my heart that I really enjoyed doing. I looked over my shoulder and saw a painting hanging on the wall above their couch. I quickly pointed and said “we can use these colors!”

The excitement gained way and my mind was swirling! She ending up changing her original idea to a better one! The End Tables, I posted yesterday were grey and black glaze to tie in with this statement piece, making them still a matching set but with a lot more BOOM! This TV stand came out exactly how I envisioned!

Using Sherwin-Williams Tin Lizzie as our grey base I blended Jade Dragon, Interesting Aqua and Peppercorn. Glazing the unit in Tricorn Black to match the end tables which blended these three pieces together nicely. The top is Tin Lizzie just like the end tables. I added a pop of Sunny Veranda for an added artistic vibe. Changed out the hardware with white distressed grey knobs from Hobby Lobby.

Cathedral Media Buffet

Where do I start with this one!? At my clients color consultation she shared with me the interior decorations that were on order for her living room. Shades of blues, greys and browns. From a new couch, pillow shams, rugs and more, I recommended using Sherwin-Williams Tin Lizzie, a soft grey with a blue huge. Glazed in a dark grey using Rock Bottom which also has a complement huge to Tin Lizzie. I picked up these Nickel Celtic knobs from Hobby Lobby that caught my clients eye. Staining the top in Minwax Special Walnut completes his look! Not only is this handsome fellow large but super heavy with 6 large drawers inside the four cathedral like doors. Totally in love with him!

My grandmother found this piece for sale at Goodwill for me, when I picked it up I fell in love with her serpentine lines and the solidness of this piece. We were looking for something new to place under our TV in the family room since we are renovating the house.

I asked my husband what color and style he wanted and he told me he wanted a sleek black on black look. So that’s what I did for him!

Refinished in a solid look using Sherwin-Williams Tricorn Black, stained the top in a brown. Revamped the original hardware in black.

TV Entertainment Unit

There is a number of reasons why I love refinishing and restoring family heirlooms, hand-me-down furniture and grandpa’s builds. One reason, these pieces have significant meaning to my clients. Memories of the family get togethers around a dining table, a daughter inheriting her beloved mothers bedroom set after passing or simply a piece that someone in the family built by hand. You entrust me with these special pieces and I am absoutley honor to give them a Second Chance!

I have done a bedroom set for this client a couple years back and she finally got her hands on her aunts TV entertainment unit and wanted a fresh look.

This huge massive Tv Entertainment Unit has a top as well that I couldn’t put up by myself, nor place this entire four piece set in my staging area for a true picture. Nonetheless, I am completely over the moon with how she turned out!

Refinished in multiple different coats of Sher-Wood Dark Oak and a custom Grey stain. We added black rustic metal half moon pulls for an updated look, taking off glass doors and bottom doors for a more modern open concept.
