Giveaway

I enjoy doing Giveaways on my social media accounts, Facebook and Instagram, letting my followers know that I appreciate all of them! If it weren’t for their continued support I wouldn’t get to do what truly makes me so happy!

When I found this piece the owner told me he was her great Grandfathers. At least 60+ years old. He used it in the garage at one point. I loved the filing cabinet look of him, so when I saw him knew what needed to be done!

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Crisp Linen. Distressed and glazed in Brown. Replaced hardware with metal pulls giving him the farmhouse style.

Succulent Garden

I was given this old broken dresser by a client. She couldn’t remember his story but knew he was old and in bad shape. The drawers had no sliders. The bones of this piece were missing or broken causing him to lean to the left. Nothing was going smoothly for this guy.  I had hopes of restoring this piece. I took the top off- due to it being cracked down the center and was going to replace it. As I was waiting for my wood glue to dry on the side slats connecting the main bone joints I was looking at him thinking, how will I refinish him once done. No top. Drawers were sticking out. BOOM. It hit me like a ton of bricks! DUH! Of course! Succulent Garden!!!!

Buffet Cabinet

I had a very good friend donate this piece to me. Her and her husband were selling their family home and retiring up north, downsizing. This was one of those pieces that was hard for the both of them to let go. When I saw this lovely piece I had that instant vision of what she will become. When I completed her I was so excited I had to share the outcome with its previous owner. Turns out her daughter bought it back and I couldn’t be any happier! I love when pieces get a Second Chance in the family!

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound and glazed in Grey. Replaced broke glass door with a solid glass door pane. Stained the top in a grey with white wash look. Original hardware updated in silver.

Nightstands

I found these French provincial nightstands for a client and fell in love with her idea of a soft touch for these girls. One drawer was missing a handle but I quickly found a matching one in my knob stash- it was just meant to be!! Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Gray Matters and glazed in white. Original hardware pulls updated in silver.

Turquoise Sofa Table

A hidden gem! My client found this simple oak sofa table at a garage sale for $40 bucks. We made this plain Jane into a runway model. Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Nifty Turquoise for a POP of color and heavily glazed in brown. Top stained in Mission Oak. Added iron hardware for the final touch giving this gal a total new look!

Nightstand

Remember the dresser turn TV console I recently refinished, my client had found it at an Estate sale!? It came with a nightstand and she wanted to use it as a end table in her family room near the TV console. Relocated the knob holes, and updated them with some very pretty knobs she found at Hobby Lobby. Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound, glaze in brown. Dark Oak stained top.
