Nightstands

I love refinishing piece that have had their stories told and are ready for new series. Sometimes I get pieces in from clients that are in excellent shape, they have had it for 20+ years but they are ready for a change! With these nightstands my clients wanted a simple solid finish in Sherwin-Williams Gale Force. Updated the original hardware in bronze. A classic finish that will be bold and beautiful for another 20+ years!

Dining Table

I love refinishing dining tables. This is the place for family discussion, togetherness and celebration. My client brought in her grandmothers old oak dining table, one that looks just like mine, which is from my mother! She wanted the same set up as me- Dark stained top and distressed bottom. Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound and stained in Dark Oak- Perfect for every farmhouse lover!

Dresser turned TV Console

Dresser turned TV Console- One of the best things happening in the décor world today! Every home is unique because of this! My client found this dresser at an Estate sale. She wanted the top row of drawers taken out and replaced with a shelf for the DVR box and knick-knacks. This lovely piece was refinished in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound and glazed in brown. The original hardware pulls were updated in bronze. A rustic look top using white and Dark Oak stain.

Dresser turned TV console

I had refinished a dresser and used it in my house for about a year. I had a client come by to pick up some pieces and she saw it and fell in love. She wanted a few minor adjustments. I removed the first row of drawers and replaced it with a shelf so she could put DVR’s and Cable boxes in there. As well as updated original hardware in bronze. This piece was refinished in Sherwin-Williams Riverway and the top stained in Early American.

Dresser

Picked up this guy at a non planned garage sale find. What happened was the kids and I were on our way to go grocery shopping on a Saturday morning when my eldest son, Connor, spotted the “garage sale” signs (he is the best look out man I could ask for!). I was excited to see this one for sale and quickly purchase him. I had him up for customization, after about a week of staring at him in the shop I knew what I wanted to do, and being that no one had claimed him, I went ahead and finished him.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound, both glazed in brown and distressed. Original hardware updated in bronze. Stained the top in Dark Oak. He quickly found a home!

Waterfall Dresser

I love doing giveaways to show my appreciation!  I thought this waterfall dresser would be the perfect giveaway for my social media accounts to say how thankful I am to have the support and encouragement from my followers, fans and clients – plus I have a soft spot for waterfalls. I was given this fellow from a follower of mine. It use to be her grandfathers. I refinished him in Sherwin-Williams Gale Force and stained the top and first drawer in Early American. I used a technique called ‘dry brushing’ the paint, Gale Force, lightly through the top to create a rustic look. Updated the original gold pulls to bronze. When I showed my client the new and approved Waterfall she had showed her dad the pictures. Right away he responded with purchasing it. He thought this old guy was too far gone form second chances. How could I say no to the man whose father used to use this dresser. He had memories of playing by it as a small boy. So my rustic waterfall went back home to write more pages in his book! Back to looking for another piece to giveaway.

Baby Changer

I had previously refinished a dresser and my girlfriend bought it for her baby’s nursery. She picked up this changer from a garage sale and wanted it to match the piece I had refinished. Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Tricorn Black. The drawer faces papered using a black and white stripped design. Finished off this look with antique porcelain white knobs.
