I find pieces all over the Valley and will occasionally post them up for customization on my Facebook page or here in ‘Menu’, under ‘Customizable Items’. However, sometimes I can’t resist what I envision for a piece and I will go right ahead and give it a Second Chance and put it up for sale.
This gorgeous buffet was up to be customized and didn’t sit long; a client contacted me and wanted to use it for her TV console. After our color consultation, she chose for her piece to be refinished in Sherwin-Williams Pure White and glazed in grey. We kept the detailed original plates but updated them in white as well as added knobs my client found from Hobby Lobby. I stained the top in Dark Oak. For this piece to work the way my client had envisioned, I removed the one drawer that was located in the middle of the two opening doors. Replaced the drawer with a shelf and cut a hole in the back for a DVR cord. A perfect bright happy piece!
