Refinished in Sherwin Williams’ warm hues of Chateau Brown and Tiki Hut, the transformation involved a two-part process that brilliantly mimics the appearance of a wood stain through an admired technique. By utilizing dry brushing combined with a delicate glaze, I’ve applied one of my favorite faux stain methods. This unique approach ensures that the character of the original piece is preserved while infusing it with a fresh life. Each stroke tells a story, blending the old with the new, creating a striking balance that not only enhances the beauty of the furniture but also pays homage to its history.
