Nightstands

I inquired these two nightstands that were DIY projects that didn’t turn out so great for the previous person. Both painted in black but the sheens were different. A returning client saw my post on Facebook and wanted them for her self and to be refinished in something I haven’t done. Pearl. Challenge accepted!

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound and coated with Faux Impressions Metallic Pearl for that shine. The top has been sanded down to raw wood and coated with the same Metallic Pearl. These beauties are really amazing! We finished the set with adding Antique Silver Mercury Scallop Knobs from Hobby Lobby. Love!!

Farmhouse Audio/Video Console

Originally manufactured by Martin Furniture this Audio/Video Console got an update. After 10 years my client was ready to give her heavy duty Costco TV unit a Second Chance by doing a Farmhouse style. You can tell she was really wanting to update this piece instead of buying something new, flimsy and expensive. She compromised with her hubby and had him pick out the color stain for the top. I think they both made a great team and I was excited to get to work creating what they envisioned!

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound and lightly distressed. Because the wood is mahogany, I used a couple coats of White stain and then a topcoat of Charcoal Gray stain that way our top would end up gray and not red or pink from the natural wood color. Original glass and knobs cleaned. Speaker screen thrown out, giving this gal another shelf to use!
