Tall Dresser

Tall dresser refinished in Sherwin-Williams Tricorn Black, distressed. Black and White Papered faces on the drawers with vintage porcelain knobs. I removed the top drawer and closed it off building a shelf inside. inserted and basket and fell in love!

Coffee Table

My client picked up this custom built sturdy coffee table. She wanted her piece to be stained but look old, weathered and aged.

A processes I like to do to achieve this look contains both paint and stain. Lots of sanding and patience! Letting each layer dry completely is key!

Recent highlights in January. Dining table and 6 chairs, armoire and a bench. All unique pieces with their own style but they all have one thing in common…. glaze! I love how glaze can enhance some of the simplest pieces yet embellish the smallest of details.

Customer armoire refinished in Sherwin-Williams Dover White and glazed in gold. My client had this piece in her family for a while, in fact was hand painted by a loved one. She was ready for an updated look by Second Chance Charms!

Second Chance Charms had a wonderful 2015 year! From the bottom of my heart, I thank each and every one of you. Your support, whether you are a Like on a page, a fellow artist or a client, has given me confidence.

To be successful at something, not only must you enjoy it but you have to be great at it. Your request for unique finishes helped me challenge my artistic side. I matured as a refinisher from achieving customers desired results. Fear is behind me and endless possibilities lay before me.

Inhale confidence. Exhale doubt.

His&Hers

I was given two pieces from one of my Charmers to refinished in white, antiqued. The ‘His’ dresser and the ‘Her’ dresser. The Yin and Yang. (I am absolutely in love with this idea.) Here are my Charmer’s dressers that she found and sent my way. I gave these 1900’s waterfall dressers much love!
