Bookcase

WHOA- Where do I start?! Okay, so I offered to fix the hole that was in the backing of this custom piece when my client dropped it off to me. But then we both looked at each other and realized- Beadboard! What a perfect way to add MORE character and detail to this very plain piece! (Maybe it was her idea) I’m not sure- But I was super excited to do this!

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Well-Bred Brown and glazed in Agreeable Gray. I am seriously loving this dark with light glaze look!

Most recent projects! If you missed any of these beauties, please scroll though and check them out! I got to refinish my first antique record player cabinet (I am not counting the famous Victrola because there were no insides to that piece just his amazing shell- Click 2015 Portfolio to view him- He is the 1st one on the 2nd row).  As well as I got to do a new refinishing style- the Dipped Look, on an adorable french provincial nightstand! Check out Refinished Styles as I added this neat style for you to choose from. Of course we can’t forget that navy armoire with those amazing handles! Last but defiantly not least, a sweet bookcase that was built by my clients father many years ago when he was a young boy.

A bookcase that was built by my clients father when he was younger was brought in for a Second Chance. She wanted the backdrop to pop against the white and to have it match the bed frame and dresser I refinished for her back in 2015.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Dover White. The backing is Sherwin-Williams Black Fox and Glazed in Tricorn Black.
