Armoire

This piece belongs to my mother and she has it in her courtyard to house the pool floaties, sunscreen and miscellaneous garden supplies. It was beautiful before, but she wanted a statement piece outback! How can I argue!?

Not to give away my age, but I remember this armoire in our family room back when I was in Highschool. We would watch our movies and play Nintendo around this beast.

My mother wanted the design decal removed as well as the CD holders and random things used for TV boxes and what-nots. Now it has even more space for her outside living supplies. Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Rockwood Terra Cotta. Using Nifty Turquoise and June Day for a blended artisy feel. I glazed the entire piece in Van Duke Brown to tie it all in. Adding new black hardware from Homedepot ties this gal in nicely.

Corner Armoire

My client uses this corner armoire as a wine/bar server. It has two shelves that I also refinished but didn’t photo as my client kept the pegs for them.

Refinished in a color from Bear called Hemisphere. Of course I had the color made in my Sherwin-Williams paints! New hardware picked out by my client, modern square knobs with plates in oil rubbed bronze. Glazed in the lines using Turkish Coffee.

Armoire

One more piece to go to complete my client’s master bedroom set she inherited from her mother and father.

Refinished in a solid look using Sherwin-Williams Black Bean. The top of the unit as well as the top of the middle section (even though it’s one solid piece) are stained in Armoire Hickory. Original hardware cleaned up. Stay tuned in for the matching mirror.

Armoire

I absolutely love the space this mastive piece is going in. My clients master bedroom is beach themed and she wanted to lighten up her dark furniture.

After seeing her bedroom set in person we agreed on the perfect white.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Greek Villa and lightly distressed. Revamping the original hardware in black to match her other pieces.

Recent Highights January

Most recent projects! If you missed any of these beauties, please scroll though and check them out! I got to refinish my first antique record player cabinet (I am not counting the famous Victrola because there were no insides to that piece just his amazing shell- Click 2015 Portfolio to view him- He is the 1st one on the 2nd row).  As well as I got to do a new refinishing style- the Dipped Look, on an adorable french provincial nightstand! Check out Refinished Styles as I added this neat style for you to choose from. Of course we can’t forget that navy armoire with those amazing handles! Last but defiantly not least, a sweet bookcase that was built by my clients father many years ago when he was a young boy.

Navy Armoire

Simple doesn’t mean easy! A sleek solid finish for this transformation! (I find that it is hard to photograph dark blues, or maybe its my camera phone.) Nonetheless, this piece turned out great! A dark navy color matched to a shelf my client provided. New gold dipped white feather pulls are absolutely lovely!
