Vanity

Bright, bold and blingy! My client received this piece for FREE from an old neighbor. She had it for many years and was ready for a change.

Refinishing this gal in a solid look using Sherwin-Williams Lechmere. My client found back plates online and wanted them revamped in a Copper Rose. Adding some blingy knobs finished this gal up! The secret small drawer I painted in Copper Rose for a fun surprise!

The huge round mirror didn’t need to be refinished and will be installed when I deliver this girl!

Armoire

One more piece to go to complete my client’s master bedroom set she inherited from her mother and father.

Refinished in a solid look using Sherwin-Williams Black Bean. The top of the unit as well as the top of the middle section (even though it’s one solid piece) are stained in Armoire Hickory. Original hardware cleaned up. Stay tuned in for the matching mirror.

Retro Dresser and Nightstand

Last month I finished a retro nightstand, read here to view him: Retro Nightstand. I got my hands on the nightstands’ twin brother and his dresser. These pieces are such delicate items as their tops are a thin sheet of veneer. My client wanted them stained with a solid finished base. Sanding these tops are not only challenging but time consuming. One wrong move can destroy them. They have such a gorgeous design to them that needed to be showcased where the previous stain was too dark and hid their beauty.

Refinished in a solid look using Sherwin-Williams Black Bean and tops are stained in Armoire Hickory. Original hardware cleaned up. Stay tuned in for the matching mirror and armoire!

Retro Nightstand

I’m excited to get my hands on my clients’ parents retro bedroom set. We value and cherished items that are left behind after loved ones passing. Having their furniture refinished to match your style is just a great way to not only repurpose those memories but to also enjoy them!

First up, one of the nightstands. In total there is another nightstand, a dresser, and an armoire. Stay tuned in as I will be sharing those later as I get my hands on them, one piece at a time.

Refinished in a solid finish using Sherwin-Williams Black Bean. The veneer top stained in Armoire Hickory. Keeping with the hardware that my client had changed out a few years back, polished and cleaned.
