My client purchased this dining table back in 1953. It has lasted many years, giving many memories, but needed to be freshened up. I restored this table to its former glory for many more years to come! Oh- and just in time for my clients 90th birthday party!

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Porpoise
and glazed in Urbane Bronze. Hardware is brass library card catalog pulls that you can place tabs in or not. The top is stained using Weathered Oak with a grey wash.
A few weeks back I refinished a chair and a buffet that matches this hutch. My client has many more chairs and a dining table that I will be work on soon. Meep!!!

Using the color Software by Sherwin-Williams and glazing in Cyberspace. I stained the top in Weathered Teak. Added new hardware that my client purchased, Crystal Knobs matched with silver plates changes this piece to the better! Like most of my customs, I will have my clients keep the glass at home, in this case, two glass doors and glass shelves are at home waiting to be put back in.

I’ve been busy playing and enjoying my last few weeks with my half day Preschooler before the Summer Loven goes full blast. August he starts Kindergarten, full day, and life as I know it will undoubtedly change. I will have all three boys in school and an empty house. Talk about excitment and sadness!!
The good thing for you, is I will be able to schedule more jobs and really set off on Second Chance Charms. The past 7 years has been wonderful! I have all of you to thank for that!! You have allowed me to be a stay at home mother while helping pay a bill or two. Thank you!

This custom piece turned out exactly how I had planned. Blending three colors using Sherwin-Williams Dovetail, Maga Greige and Black Fox. Leaving the inside of the unit in Dovetail. Glazing the outside in Tricorn Black for an aged look. Revamping the original hardware in Oil Rubbed Bronze.

Second Chance Charms had a wonderful 2018 year! Refinishing a total of 78 pieces, fifteen of them were inventory selections and one donation piece! This year brought welcomed challenges and some old family heirlooms!

Looking back on 2018 I was able to finish my Boutique Room project, I was featured in The Happy Home Newsletter as well as Featured in VoyagePhoenix! Last year my goal was Illustration. I didn’t get to do videos (camera shy) but I did try to show tutorials via photos on Behind the Scenes Furniture Group on Facebook. This year I want to Focus. I want to focus on myself, my family and how this passion makes me incredibly happy and humbled.
