Two Hutch End Pieces

My client had these for quite some time and needed a change. Not only wanted to keep them due to their well built sturdiness, but the character these pieces have. I absolutely love the front glass window like panes.

Refinished in a solid finish in Sherwin-Williams Pure White. New updated hardware and hinges give a softer feel to this piece from the original rustic ones from before.

Dining Chairs

Most times you can lighten up your space in your home by changing your furniture to a lighter color. This customer of mine wanted to do just that.

Refinished in a White Custom match (matching a coffee table that she had refinished by another refinisher) and reupholstering the chairs in a grey micro suede fabric. Out with the brown and in with the whites! Dining table to come!

Dresser

Refinishing a nursery set for a client and I am in love with what these pieces look like! Yesterday the Nursery Crib was posted, today I am sharing the dresser and soon to follow the tall chest of drawers.

A solid sleek transformation using Sherwin-Williams Snowbound. Found these gorgeous wood peg and metal ring knobs at Hobby Lobby. My client had a wonderful idea to use gold washers for the plates to hide the previous hole cut outs that the original knobs left on the top row in both dressers. He loved it so much that we continued to use them for all the knobs adding a unique flair to these simple knobs.

Dining table and chairs

Shopping around for new dining table sets doesn’t take long to realize how expensive a table and chairs can add up. When you have a piece at home that doesn’t quite match your decor but you love the style, sturdiness and memories your piece brings it only makes sense to have it refinished. My client found herself in this same situation.
I met my client at her home and gave her a color consultation using her lighting and we talked about options for this piece. Her dining table and chairs have leather details, a gorgeous slate top on the table and a sturdiness unlike anything I have ever dealt with. (I am not kidding this thing, is ridiculously heavy and should be banned haha)

She and her husband settled on a solid finish in Sherwin-Williams Greek Villa for both the table and chairs. I re-upholstered the chair cushions in a gorgeous upholstery fabric my client picked out from Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts store. I can’t wait to see what this fellow looks like in his home!

Day Bed Frame

We all love getting certain hand-me-downs! My customer received this day bed from her late mothers estate and wanted to do something special with it. Her mother had once painted this piece in a teal crackle and yellow base with brown glaze many years ago.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams White Flour and lightly distressed. The detailed middle design glazed in black for a nice POP! Simple, Sweet and Sleek!
