Love the butcher block! My client was ready to clean up her table top and have the chairs and base of this table in a solid sleek finish.
I sanded down the table top using three different sanding grits, from low to high to get a smooth glass feel and just sealed it to keep that beautiful neutral wood tone. Refinished the base in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound in a solid sleek look makes these pieces brand new once again.

Seven dining chairs and a table that I am head over heals for!! My husband loved this set so much that we decided to keep it and replace it with our old set.
I had this set in inventory ready to be customized posted In The Studio for a while with no takers. After walking by it for quite some time, I had an idea of how I wanted them to be refinished. Of course, I had all intentions on selling them. My husband was helping me move the set inside to be staged and he says to me, “oooh, we’re keeping this right?”… you can’t say that to me! So, stay tuned in, I will be redoing our farmhouse table and chairs and sending out First Dibs email (round oak table with a leaf to create an oval with six farmhouse X back chairs).
Refinishing the base of these chairs in a solid finish using Sherwin-Williams High Hide White (which matches my cabinets). I wanted the seats to be stained to match the table top. I used Minwax Weathered Teak in a clear base.
Look at these lovely custom pieces! All unique and gorgeous! I got to finished a clients dining room, as well as start on a master suite with another charmer. Sold an inventory piece for customization and refinished two little garden chairs for a returning client. Thank you, thank you for all your support!!
Sometimes when clients pick up pieces that I refinished for them they will drop off little decor items such as candle sticks, picture frames, mirrors and the like. Sometimes I will get bigger items like interior doors, lamps and in this case cute garden chairs.
My client picked out her colors and it was a simple request of a solid refinish. The chairs had been used outside for quite sometime and needed to be sanded down to get rid of the old chippy finish.
Refinished in a happy bright yellow and orange, these gals are ready to not only look great in my client’s garden area but have a lasting finish for outside durability.

My client was unsure with imagining how her dining set was going to look refinished so I offered to start with one chair to show her. Well, her dining table and chairs are complete! After dropping off the dining set on Friday she also gave me the matching hutch to officially complete this set! Stay tuned in to that lovely transformation!
Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Greek Villa and lightly stained in brown. The top of the table is stained in Wood Classics Armoire Hickory. The two drawer handles revamped in black. Chairs reupholstered in Joann’s Fabric a grey vinyl.

For those who know me and my style, I am a perfectionist. So when my client told me she wanted to reupholster the chairs herself I was excited for her, but sad that I don’t have the chairs completely ‘finished’ for my portfolio. Last week I posted about four dining chairs refinished in a white color match. Here is the dining table to match that set. My client wanted the bottom a white solid finish and the top in a solid sleek dark color. She chose Sherwin-Williams Rockweed.
She loved my staging center piece and ask where she can get those items: The mat was from Walmart, most of the silver trinkets were from Goodwill. The pots from Michaels -I painted them white. And I love getting my succulents from Lowes!

Most times you can lighten up your space in your home by changing your furniture to a lighter color. This customer of mine wanted to do just that.
Refinished in a White Custom match (matching a coffee table that she had refinished by another refinisher) and reupholstering the chairs in a grey micro suede fabric. Out with the brown and in with the whites! Dining table to come!
