I finally finished up the last two chairs to my clients dining set. A total of six Antique Dining Chairs and I am happy to be finished. They turned out beautiful!
Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Software and glazed in Cyberspace. My client picked out a cream and grey damask fabric from Joanns Fabric Store. Finally adding a dark grey cord to match and to finish them off!
I love this little folding chair! Even more so the story behind it. My client was out walking her pup and noticed a neighbor throwing this chair out into the trash. She stopped him and ask if she could have it. He replied with “it’s broken, are you sure?”…
“I have a girl who can fix it!” She tells him.
So here we are, fixed his leg and replaced the screws. Refinished him using Sherwin-Williams Black Fox and lightly distressing him. Added a new print fabric that my client picked out. She gave this fellow a second chance, literally saving him from the trash!

These adorable wooden captain chairs are a dream! Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Black Fox, and the arms and tops in oil rubbed bronze. Lightly glazed in brown to match the table that is original brown. Just in time for my clients Thanksgiving day party!!

For those who know me and my style, I am a perfectionist. So when my client told me she wanted to reupholster the chairs herself I was excited for her, but sad that I don’t have the chairs completely ‘finished’ for my portfolio.
