Day Bed Frame

We all love getting certain hand-me-downs! My customer received this day bed from her late mothers estate and wanted to do something special with it. Her mother had once painted this piece in a teal crackle and yellow base with brown glaze many years ago.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams White Flour and lightly distressed. The detailed middle design glazed in black for a nice POP! Simple, Sweet and Sleek!

Bookcase

WHOA- Where do I start?! Okay, so I offered to fix the hole that was in the backing of this custom piece when my client dropped it off to me. But then we both looked at each other and realized- Beadboard! What a perfect way to add MORE character and detail to this very plain piece! (Maybe it was her idea) I’m not sure- But I was super excited to do this!

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Well-Bred Brown and glazed in Agreeable Gray. I am seriously loving this dark with light glaze look!

Swirl End Table

Between the swirls in these legs and the front curves on the body I don’t know where to look first! Another Bombay beauty! My client chose Sherwin-Williams Network Grey with Black Glaze. I love the use of glaze on this piece, so much detail popped out that was hidden before. I updated the hardware and upper brass corner stoppers in bronze.
