Bombay Dresser
Initially I was nervous about painting this beauty, my client had her for a very long time and was ready for a change.
Love how this small dresser by Bombay turned out! My client chose to have this gal refinished in Sherwin-Williams Thunder Grey and glazed in Reposed Grey. Original pulls revamped in bronze. Love how it brings the colors out from the top!

I completed a clients living room space! Back in January, I worked on the TV entertainment unit and now I finished the coffee table and end tables this month. Also, my little moved over to a big boy bed with a fresh new red frame! Last but not least, I refinished a French provincial dresser I found during one of my treasure hunts, in a style that I am absolutely obsessed with.
French Provincial Dipped Dresser
As some of you may know, I am a mother of three wonderful sweet boys! I live the ‘girlie decor’ through some of my furniture pieces and that is just alright with me!
Oh my goodness French, dipped and coral?! This gorgeous number has 3 drawers. Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Lei Flower and Dipped in Gold. Amazing details glazed in white. A gorgeous feminine in curves yet masculine in color, a statement piece perfect for your home!
Last week on my Facebook page, Second Chance Charms, I had asked my fellow re-finishers, clients and followers what color this dresser should be that came into the shop. I had total artist block. I knew in my heart glaze was a must… look at all that detail that needed to be showcased. I got many helpful responses. One of the ideas that were suggested was a two-toned look. At first I was nervous at the idea. This piece is already busy and I didn’t want too much going on. After I was finished priming her, I purposely left the drawers primed and painted the body in a dark gray. When I put the drawers back in it was there. Screaming yes!!!!
This amazingly huge dresser has 12 Drawers. (There is a mirror that can be refinished to match if interested- for an additional price). The base is refinished in Sherwin-Williams Gauntlet Gray. The drawer faces are painted in Reposed Grey. Finished off with Tricorn Black glaze. The original pulls of course had to be finished off in Nickle.

French Provincial Chest of DrawersÂ
My client picked up a french provincial bedroom set and wanted an updated look. Clean and classic. Starting her bedroom transformation with the tall boy, refinished in a solid look using Sherwin-Williams Extra White. Original hardware revamped in gold.
Antique Chest of Drawers
I found this fellow and his sister together! I still have her over in In the Studio ready to be customized. I refinished this wonderful chest of drawers in Sherwin-Williams Sand Beach and glaze him in brown. Updated the hardware in bronze. Measurements are 37.5″ long x 51.5″ tall x 20.5″ deep. 5 drawers. This piece has some fantastic subtle details. Dovetailed joints. Cute simple feet. All one solid piece. He is up for sale!!! To be successful at something, not only must you enjoy it but you have to be great at it. Your request for unique finishes helped me challenge my artistic side. I matured as a refinisher from achieving customers desired results. Fear is behind me and endless possibilities lay before me.
