I absolutely love this color grey- it’s a beautiful masculine color that exudes sophistication and style, making it perfect for anyone looking to elevate their living space. Refinished in Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze, this piece showcases a deep, rich hue that is both modern and timeless, seamlessly blending with both contemporary and traditional decor. With these streamlined angles and straight edges, I felt compelled to ensure that the base and legs were the center of attention, drawing the eye and creating an impressive silhouette that commands presence in any room. Sanding them down meticulously and sealing them for a natural look was exactly what I envisioned; this process not only highlights the craftsmanship but also enhances the overall appeal, making it an exquisite addition to any decor that speaks to those who appreciate quality and elegance.

The combination of quality materials and thoughtful design speaks volumes about the artistry involved in creating this stunning furniture piece, providing not just functionality but a statement of style. Original knobs revamped in oil rubbed bronze for a masculine feel add the perfect finishing touch, ensuring that this piece isn’t just furniture; it’s a conversation starter and a testament to refined taste.

Antique Tall Boy Dresser

This beautiful antique tall boy dresser is for sale, click on over to Shop Selections for details!

I got my hands on this stunning 1900’s antique dresser, sadly the original tiger wood faced drawers had seen better days. I ended up having to remove the old partly missing and very much chipped veneer and decided to give this beauty a true Second Chance! Changing directions from giving him a restoration I ended up wanting to see him in a green.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Oakmoss and heavily glazed in a dark brown slightly distressed in areas I saw fit for an aged look. Removing the original knobs and adding different pulls that I revamped in a Chestnut classed up this handsome fellow. I left his casters on, cleaned them up and refinished them in Chestnut as well for an overall makeover.

Lingerie Cabinet

Continuing on with my clients bedroom set. This lovely lingerie cabinet is up next. Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound and lightly glazed in Turkish Coffee. Leaving the top as is, as well as leaving the hardware original. Love how this look just brightens up these pieces!

Dresser

Word of mouth is such a huge compliment to me and I absolutely appreciate it! This client came to me, referred by her friend, to have her entire bedroom set refinished.

First piece up is her dresser. This piece has an open top section area for the TV box and DVR devices, which I thought is perfect to maintain the top of your dresser and to minimize clutter.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound and lightly glazed in Turkish Coffee. The top is left untouched and original. The hardware was cleaned.

Buffet

“Oh my gosh! It’s so beautiful. I can’t believe I contemplated getting rid of it and buying a new piece for my space.”

Really in love with this gal! My client had a vision and although she didn’t quite push me out of my comfort zone, I found a challenge worth the reward.

Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Anonymous and glazed in one shade darker using Porpoise. (The challenge in glazing one shade darker was I couldn’t tell how much of the glaze I was applying and taking off. When paint is wet its lighter. So during the glazing process I felt like I was reapplying the same base color. Talk about nervousness!) The top is stained using Varathane Wood Stain in Weathered Oak. The original hardware is cleaned up, however, the two long plates were more gold. In order to match them to the pulls I sprayed the two plates in Oil Rubbed Bronze and wet sanded them to bring a little gold out to match the existing pulls.

Lexington Victorian Sampler Dresser and Mirror

Such a gorgeous dresser my client has!! She refinished it sometime ago and wanted a new look. This dresser by Lexington has grooves, crevices and curves in all the right places!

My client is ordering hardware, so unfortunately I will have to post this gorgeous piece without her completely finished. Trust me when I say, its very hard for me to do that. Haha

Nonetheless I will still stage her in all her beauty! Refinished in Sherwin-Williams Gray Matters and glazed in Cyberspace. I did not stain the top as my client was happy with how it was before, a beautiful dark finish. I did clean up a few troubled areas for her on the stain that was near the body of the piece.
